Soldiers train for Africa deployment

FORT DRUM--New York Army National Guard Cpl. Michael Ortega and Pfc. Juan Almeida, two infantrymen assigned to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, operate a M240B machine gun during a platoon exercise at Fort Drum, Jul. 01. The 69th Regiment is conducting pre-mobilization training at Fort Drum in preparation of an upcoming deployment to the Horn of Africa.
