Funerals for former Soldiers

SCHUYLERVILLE-- New York Army National Guard Sgt. Joshua Sanzo ( left) holds the flag as its folded by Pfc. Ryan Baranski and Spc. Ryan Gosse during a funeral service for Cpl. Lewis Smith, U.S. Army during the burial mass at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, on December 20th, 2018. Smith served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. New York Army and Air National Guard honor guards will conduct more than 11,000 such services by the end of 2018.
