Rainbow Division history remembered

GARDEN CITY--New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Colin Stewart, from Garden City, a member of the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment presents a memorial wreath on behalf of the Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation, at the 42nd Division Memorial in Garden City, N.Y. on Nov. 10, 2017. The foundation, which has a mission to memorialize the 42nd Division, provides for wreaths to be presented at the monument on veterans day. The monument marks the location of the camp where the division was formed in 1917.
