69th Infantry Arrives in Australia for Training

ROCKHAMPTON, Australia 300 Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, arrive in Rockhampton to participate in Operation Talisman Saber,on July 8. 600 Soldiers flew from Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, N.Y. to Australian on two charter flights. The Soldiers participating in the exercise will conduct maneuvers at the Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area, and hone their fighting skills alongside service members from Australia and New Zealand.
