105th AW Trains to Load Civil Support Vehicles

STEWART ANGB NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- 105th Airlift Wing loadmasters, aerial port personnel and members of the New York National Guard’s 2nd Civil Support Team (CST) practice loading their response package vehicles aboard a C-17 Globemaster III, Mar. 21, 2012. The CST is composed of Army and Air National Guard members who are trained to identify chemical, radiological, and biological agents. The 2nd CST, based at Stratton Air National Guard Base, must be able to deploy on any Guard aircraft and the training exercise on March 21 gave 105th Airlift Wing loadmasters the chance to practice the best way to position CST vehicles on the C-17.
