Guard Engineers Home from Afghanistan

HORSEHEADS-- Soldiers of the New York Army National Guard’s 827th Engineer Company arrive at the airport here on Wednesday, Feb. 16 to be greeted by the Adjutant General, Major General Patrick Murphy, and other Army Guard leaders following a 10-month mission in Afghanistan.
The Soldiers, based at armories in Walton, Horseheads and Buffalo were reunited with their families shortly afterwards.
