Labor/Management Safety Agreement Inked

LATHAM -- Brigadier General Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General, looks on as Philip Imbarrato, New York Chapter Presisdent of the Association of Civilian Technicians, initials a new safety agreement between the union, New York National Guard leadership, and the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Wednesday, June 3. The " New York Army National Guard Voluntary Protection Program Labor-Management Commitment Statement" outlines the ways that supervisors and employees will work together to improve safety at armories and maintenance facilities across the state.
Joining the Adjutant General and Imbarrato in signing the agreement are Col. Mark Burke (seated) Director of Aviation and Safety; and (from left) Major Richard Friess, Surface Maintenance Officer, Mr. Lawrence Gallagher, State Safety and Occupational Health Manager; Col. James Lettko, NYARNG Chief of Staff; Col. Philip Pugliese, Director of Logistics; and Col. Curtis Williamson, Director of Federal Human Resources.
