HUDSON FALLS--New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Dan Allen explains the mechanics of a M998 Humve to students at the Warren-Washington BOCES on Tuesday, May 12.
Allen, a member of the 1427th Transportation Co. was taking part in the Recruiting Command's "Humvee School Program". The program brings Humvees-- in this case one borrowed from the 466th Medical Company, into area BOCES--Board of Cooperative Educational Services-- schools and allows the students to perform Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services on the vehicle.
The students get a T-shirt and a chance to find out about maintenance careers in the Army National Guard.
