SARATOGA SPRINGS--David McGuiness, principle deputy assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, speaks to members of the New York National Guard during the Adjutant General's Professional Day, April 25, at the Saratoga Hilton Hotel
More than 200 officers and senior non-commissioned officers of the New York Military Forces attended the meeting.
Mr. McGuiness, a former New York Army National Guard member, outlined the reserve policies that the administration of President Barack Obama is putting together, and discussed the administrations long-term plans for meeting the military needs of the United States.
