Airmen Practice Spill Containment

STEWART AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Newburgh--Airmen from the New York Air National Guard’s 105th Airlift Wing and members of the United States Marine Corps Reserve’s Air Refueler and Transport Squadron 452 deploy containment booms across Recreation Pond on the base as part of atest of the bases’ ability to respond to fuel spills.
The spill containment exercise is a requirement set by the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
