LATHAM- Division of Military and Naval Affairs employee Laurie Romer, who works in the state personnel office, stands with Major General Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General, and her director Marilyn Hartley during an award ceremony held on Tuesday, April 2. Romer was one of a number of DMNA state employees who were recognized by Murphy for the hard work they put in ensuring that supplies were purchased on time to support 4500 New York Military Force members who responded to Hurricane Sandy and that those troops were paid on time.
